I failed the state police exam twice before and did not want to go through that experience again. The state police exam is tough and requires a lot of preparation. Using this course plus recommended books from Amazon got me over the line. Thank you!
I had to take the highway patrol exam but only had one month left of study time. That, along with my work, make things way too difficult. But given how structured the course is, along with practice questions, you quickly build-up the knowledge level needed to succeed at the exam.

The state police written exam is what I really sucked at. This course helped, a lot! Far more than outdated textbooks I was using. I can really recommend their practice exams, too – best experience yet to know if you are prepared! I would not have passed without this course; a must-have study tool!
I was taking the New York state trooper exam but had no focus on what and how to study. What’s useful is how structured the course is, and how you can work your way through it at your own pace and test your knowledge along the way. I would not have passed without this course, that’s for certain.
Wow! I was looking for a one-stop shop for all my police test needs and this is EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve tried other courses, but they have never lived up to expectations. This test prep guide, in contrast, contains everything (and more) to help guide your way through all aspects of the state trooper test.

The interview test is by far the most intimidating part of the state trooper test. To be prepared, you need to do your homework – not only yourself but also how to prepare for dynamic oral board problems that test your situational judgment. This course prepares you for exactly that. Thank you!
In 1933 the department of Wyoming highway patrol (WHP) was formed to enforce the laws of the state related to the registration and licensing of vehicles, the laws related to the use of vehicles and for the protection of roadway laws. It is the highway patrol and de facto state police agency for the 9th largest state of the United States, Wyoming. The department began with just 6 patrolmen, headed by the captain George Smith. Today the department has 208 troopers on the patrol, who serve an area of about 5.5 miles. According to the department’s statistical records of 2019, it has reported nearly 8000 motor vehicle crashes and removing more than 1300 impaired drivers from the state highways. The patrolmen are committed to their goal of “Making Wyoming’s roadways safer to travel by reducing the number of traffic crashes, to investigate and arrest criminals and to assist the motorists in trouble”.
In case of traffic crashes, the troopers spend about 1500 hours in conducting follow-up investigations and reports.
Safety and training officers of WHP provide approximately 600 hours of safety education programs. These safety programs include:
• Li’l convincer program
• Seatbelt survivor program
• REDDI program
To become a professional trooper in WHP, Wyoming highway patrol test (WHPT) is a major part of the selection process. Only the highest scoring candidates at Wyoming highway patrol test will make it to the agency’s academy for advanced skills and professional training. The WHPT tests candidate’s ability and knowledge through different tests, including:
• Written test
• Physical agility test
• Background check
• Medical test (including drug screening and psychological test)
• Polygraph test
After passing the Wyoming highway patrol test, candidates can be called for an oral interview with the panel and director of WHP. If selected, candidates will further proceed to the training academy.
