Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
Plano is a city of 260,000 residents, situated 20 miles north of Dallas, Texas and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
Despite being established in the 1840s, Plano is considered a very young city. Right up until the mid 1960s, the town of Plano (meaning flat, in Spanish) had a population of less than 4,000 people. During the 1970s, the town finally began to benefit from the economic boom that began in surrounding cities after the Second World War, and exploded in size to 72,000 people by the end of the decade.
Today, Plano is an affluent, suburban city and consistently ranks highly on “livability indexes”, in part due to its flat, well planned neighborhoods, but also because of its plentiful parks and modern transport connections.
As a well connected suburb with close proximity to Dallas, Plano benefits from a thriving local economy that is sometimes refereed to as the “Silicon Prairie”. Many Fortune 500 companies call this part of America home, with an affluent technology and telecommunication industry centered around the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
As far as the police service is concerned, Plano’s police department boasts around 410 sworn police officers and over 250 full and part time civilian support staff.
Plano suffers from very little criminality for its size, and has achieved the rank of “Safest City in America” on several consecutive occasions.
To join the Plano Police Department, applicants will need to take an exam, comprised of both a written and physical test, as well as taking part in a structured oral assessment and a polygraph analysis.
Once accepted, police trainees are enrolled in the Plano Police Department Academy, which lasts around 6 months, involving intensive physical and academic preparation, with recruits studying criminal justice, human behavior, law, and investigation techniques.
