Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
St. Petersburg is a large city on the Pinellas Peninsula, in Florida, with a population of around 265,000 people.
St. Petersburg is actually a part of the “Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area”, which when taken as a whole, represents the second largest city in the state of Florida, with a population of 2.8 million.
Allegedly, upon the city’s founding in 1888, John C. Williams (the land owner) and Peter Demens (the railroad executive) tossed a coin to decide who should name the new town. Demens won the bet, and subsequently named the city after its Russian namesake.
St. Petersburg is known for its fantastic weather, and earned the name “Sunshine City” after entering the record books for logging the most consecutive days of sunshine in the United States. The city’s reputation for great weather (like the rest of Florida) has given it something of a name as a prominent area for people to live after retirement, though these days St. Petersburg has largely succeeded in carving out its own niche as a hip and artsy city with a more youthful energy.
The city is bordered by water on three sides, and this makes it popular with yachting and water sports fanatics, so much so that it’s the most popular place for kite-surfing in the entire state of Florida.
The great weather, burgeoning art scene and wealth of leisure options is proving a real boon for St. Petersburg’s economy, with tech, educational and medical startups and multinationals all showing huge interest in the Sunshine City.
As far as policing goes, the original department was created in 1903, to serve a tiny population of only 1,600 people. The modern St Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) serves a much larger and more diverse city, across three distinct districts. The force has a total of 575 sworn police officers and over 300 civilian support staff, serving under Chief of Police Anthony Holloway.
The Florida Law Enforcement Academy gives trainees the skills they require to become a sworn police officer. To pass the test, applicants will have to show competence in a written and physical exam, as well as taking part in a structured oral assessment. The Florida Law Enforcement Academy test includes 22 weeks (790 hours) of intensive physical and academic preparation, with recruits studying criminal justice, human behavior, law, and criminal investigation.
