Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
Located amidst the Santa Clara Valley, San Jose is one of the most affluent cities in the United States. Commonly known as the “Capital of Silicon Valley”, it has the third-highest Per Capita GDP in the world and the highest number of millionaires and billionaires per capita in the U.S. According to the U.S. Census 2018, San Jose had a population of 1,030,119 people living in the main city, making it the 10th most populous in the country.
Established in 1849, San Jose Police Department’s work ethos revolves around 7 integral values: Integrity, Courage, Service, Innovation, Respect, Diversity, and Excellence. The Department is the official Law Enforcement Agency, as recognized by the CALEA, and employs 1400 personnel, of whom more than 1,000 are full-time sworn officers and the rest are civilian employees who are not sworn. The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) has jurisdiction over 178 square miles of the city, which is systematically divided into 16 patrolling districts. Each Patrolling District is further divided into 4 divisions, and each division is commanded by a Police Captain.
Headquartered in 201 W. Mission Street, San Jose, CA 95110, the Department is headed by an elected Chief of Police. The SJPD overlooks the functioning and maintenance of 2 major Police Stations and 1 airbase, with 1 state-of-the-art Airbus H125 helicopter to provide for better patrolling and also carry out tactical operations, by specialized units. The Department has more than 50 specialized units, ranging from an Air Support Unit to a full-fledged Bomb Squad. Officers customarily possess and carry Tasers as their weapons of choice. Squad cars are equipped with shotguns, in case of any emergency.
The application process for a career in the San Jose police department test is initiated by submitting an online form. This is followed by a personal questionnaire. Successful candidates are then subjected to a written test and a physical abilities test. On completion of these tests, the candidate must attend a Board Interview and a thorough Background Check is performed. The Department recruits personnel quite frequently and posts are in high demand.
