Salt Lake City police department test has three elements to the test: written, fitness, oral board, and a psychological assessment. Candidates are also expected to undertake a polygraph. Candidates who score high at the Salt Lake City police test may be asked to join the local police academy for an intensive training course to acquire all the skills necessary to work as an effective law enforcement officer.
