Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
Located around 150 miles north of the U.S-Mexico border, Pheonix is the capital and the most populous city in the state of Arizona. With a population of 1.6 million people, Phoenix is the only state capital city that has a population that exceeds 1 million. It extends across 517.9 square miles, and thus, is one of the largest cities in the country. Phoenix was officially incorporated into the Federation in 1881. The present economy of Phoenix depends heavily on the real-estate sector, and the city has one of the fastest growth rates in the country ever since the great recession.
Formed in the same year as the incorporation of the city into the Federation (1881), Phoenix Police Department is accredited by the CALEA as the official Law Enforcement body for the city of Phoenix. The Department is very well staffed with more than 2,900 full-time sworn officers and 1,000 more civilian personnel. This makes it one of the biggest Law Enforcement Departments in the U.S. The Department is headed by the Chief of Police. He is assisted by the Executive Assistant Chief. The Phoenix Police Department (CPPD) is categorically divided into 6 divisions, based on the functions that each department fulfills. The Departments are Community and Support Services Department, Investigations Department, Management Services Department, Patrolling Department, Reserve Department, Strategic and Tactical Services Department. The Department has a total of 23 Bureaus, all of which fall under one of the aforesaid divisions. Owing to the vast geographic expanse that is to be covered, the Patrolling Department has divided the city into 7 precincts for more systematic patrolling. The PPD has 9 helicopters that carry out frequent air patrolling and the Patrolling division has more than 400 bikes at its disposal. Since its inception, the PPD has lost over 40 officers in the line of duty. With their untiring services, they strive to stay true to their motto: “To Ensure the Safety and Security for Each Person in our Community”.
Application forms for recruitment into the phoenix police department test can be found online. Candidates must take a police written test. Test dates can be reserved in advance by visiting the online portal and filling out the online application. After the written test, a physical abilities test is conducted, followed by a thorough Background Investigation procedure, an interview with the appointing authority, a Psychological Evaluation and a Medical Evaluation procedure. The PPD recruits full-time officers with a lot of frequency, owing to the growing population and the necessities of the community. However, seats in the Police Academy are in high demand.
