I failed the state police exam twice before and did not want to go through that experience again. The state police exam is tough and requires a lot of preparation. Using this course plus recommended books from Amazon got me over the line. Thank you!

I had to take the highway patrol exam but only had one month left of study time. That, along with my work, make things way too difficult. But given how structured the course is, along with practice questions, you quickly build-up the knowledge level needed to succeed at the exam.

The state police written exam is what I really sucked at. This course helped, a lot! Far more than outdated textbooks I was using. I can really recommend their practice exams, too – best experience yet to know if you are prepared! I would not have passed without this course; a must-have study tool!

I was taking the New York state trooper exam but had no focus on what and how to study. What’s useful is how structured the course is, and how you can work your way through it at your own pace and test your knowledge along the way. I would not have passed without this course, that’s for certain.

Wow! I was looking for a one-stop shop for all my police test needs and this is EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve tried other courses, but they have never lived up to expectations. This test prep guide, in contrast, contains everything (and more) to help guide your way through all aspects of the state trooper test.

The interview test is by far the most intimidating part of the state trooper test. To be prepared, you need to do your homework – not only yourself but also how to prepare for dynamic oral board problems that test your situational judgment. This course prepares you for exactly that. Thank you!

Oregon state troopers (OST) is a full-service law enforcement agency for the state of Oregon. The agency was formed on 1st August, 1931. Over 300 troopers of OSP remain active 24/7 to enforce law and investigate crimes throughout the state. Terri Davie is the agency executive and Jon Harrington is the deputy executive of OSP.
It is headquartered at:
3565 Trelstad Ave SE,
OSP has been deployed to protect the people, wildlife, natural resources and enforce laws on state roadways as well as assist other local law enforcement agencies if they lack capacity or otherwise need assistance. Moreover, it has become one of the few law enforcement agencies that is responsible for monitoring state lottery security. OSP differentiates itself from other statewide law enforcement agencies, as it has many other specialized units that most other agencies lack including – fish and wildlife division, dignitary protection unit, mobile response team and medical examiner division, vendor investigation section, homicide investigation tracking system, and ignition interlock device program, among others.
In 1933, a prominent change was made within the organizational structure of OSP, i-e; The Oregon state fire Marshal office, law enforcement data system, Oregon emergency management, and Oregon wrestling boxing commission was made a part of the Department of State Police.
To become a trooper of OSP, the applicant needs to perform well in the hiring process. The hiring process also contains a 5-step Oregon state troopers test.
• First of all the applicant needs to pass the NTN entrance exam, for which he/she will be given 12 months period.
• Secondly, the applicant should be well prepared for the Oregon physical ability test. This test consists of a 1235-foot obstacle run, push and pulls machine activity, and a dummy drag activity (dragging a dummy weighing 165 pounds).
• Thirdly, the applicant is required to answer some psychological questions which are further submitted to psychologists of Oregon state troopers test for evaluation.
• Fourthly, the background history of the candidate is checked (driving history, criminal history, personal references, employment history, and financial status).
• Fifth and final is the testing step where a candidate is evaluated through a complete medical screening.
