I failed the state police exam twice before and did not want to go through that experience again. The state police exam is tough and requires a lot of preparation. Using this course plus recommended books from Amazon got me over the line. Thank you!

I had to take the highway patrol exam but only had one month left of study time. That, along with my work, make things way too difficult. But given how structured the course is, along with practice questions, you quickly build-up the knowledge level needed to succeed at the exam.

The state police written exam is what I really sucked at. This course helped, a lot! Far more than outdated textbooks I was using. I can really recommend their practice exams, too – best experience yet to know if you are prepared! I would not have passed without this course; a must-have study tool!

I was taking the New York state trooper exam but had no focus on what and how to study. What’s useful is how structured the course is, and how you can work your way through it at your own pace and test your knowledge along the way. I would not have passed without this course, that’s for certain.

Wow! I was looking for a one-stop shop for all my police test needs and this is EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve tried other courses, but they have never lived up to expectations. This test prep guide, in contrast, contains everything (and more) to help guide your way through all aspects of the state trooper test.

The interview test is by far the most intimidating part of the state trooper test. To be prepared, you need to do your homework – not only yourself but also how to prepare for dynamic oral board problems that test your situational judgment. This course prepares you for exactly that. Thank you!

Ohio state highway patrol was established in 1933 as a division of Ohio department of public safety. The entire highway patrol functions are lead by the police chief of OSHP, Richard S. Fambro. He is currently working with strength of about 1600 troopers to manage the safety and investigate the crimes at interstate and state highways/roadways. In addition to the troopers, it also worth mentioning that there are almost 1000 support personnel who work from the department as a helping hand to the division in order to perform its functions efficiently and effectively. The agency is headquartered at Columbus, Ohio. OSHP provides the following services throughout the state:
• Traffic services.
• Emergency response services.
• Support services to public and criminal justice community.
• Investigating criminal activities.
• Responsible for the security of governor and other dignitaries.
There are total 55 posts of OSHP, which are responsible for 2 or 3 counties of Ohio. It maintains a volunteer auxiliary (formed in WWll to complete the force lost to war) which assist troopers in natural disasters, crashes and in other highway emergency cases.
Since its formation, total 41 troopers have laid their lives in the line of duty.
If you are planning to join OSHP, then don’t waste your time and start preparing yourself for the hiring process of a trooper. Firstly, you need to fill out the application forms online. After applying, you will be required to pass a comprehensive Ohio state highway patrol test that is comprised of the following parts:
1. Written exam
2. Physical fitness exam
3. Polygraph test
4. Background investigation
5. Drug screening test
After taking the Ohio state highway patrol test, a selection committee will review all the information you have provided and evaluate your eligibility on fair basis. Once you are selected by the committee, then you will be further sent for training academy and field training.
