Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
The Newark police department test is composed of three elements – the written exam, fitness test, and oral board examination. Before we delve into the department in more detail, let’s learn more about the city and the region you intend to serve as a law enforcement officer.
Newark was developed in 1663, fused on October 31, 1693 (as township), and re-fused on April 11, 1836 (as city). Newark’s population was estimated at 282,090 in 2019 making it the 73rd most populous municipality in the country, and in 2000 it was ranked 63rd most populous municipality before 2019. Its total area is 25.89 sq mi. Newark is considered as one of the oldest cities in the US. Its location at the Passaic River entrance has made the waterfront of the town an integral part of New York and New Jersey. Newark is split into five electoral wards (East, West, South, North, and Central) with character spanning neighborhoods from lively commercial areas to quiet suburban enclaves. Newark is surrounded by private agricultural areas to the west, the Passaic River and Newark Bay to the east, dense urban areas to the south and southwest, and private industrial and technical working-class areas to the north. Every working day, around 100,000 individuals transport to Newark which makes it the state’s largest business focus with numerous positions in protection, money, import-fare, social insurance, and government.
In April 1857, the Newark Police Department was established. The Newark Police Department is the principal law enforcement agency representing Newark, New Jersey, and New Jersey’s largest local law enforcement agency covering 26 square miles of area. It has a population of 1300; cumulative officers were 1,100 from 2019. The population totals 281,402. Its headquarters are in Newark City. The Newark Police Department is a member of the Federal Fugitive Task Force in New York-New Jersey.
Newark police department test consists of three basic tests (written, oral, physical). Passing the written test requires thorough knowledge of subjects such as math and grammar and reading comprehension. The physical test is challenging and it requires robust preparation in the weeks and months leading up to the exam. The oral board exam asks two kinds of questions – situational and dynamic questions. You will also be asked questions on personal integrity and how to even-handedly apply the law to members of the public. Success at the Newark police test requires a diligent and long-term study approach that caters to all aspects of the exam.
