Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
Miami is a city popular for its economic progress and cultural diversity. It is the most important city of the State of Florida and the sixth most densely populated city in the United States of America, according to the 2018 census, with a population of approximately 6.1 million inhabitants. Being a major player in the economy of the United States, it is classified as an Alpha level city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network (GaWC) assessment.
The Miami Police Department, otherwise known as the City of Miami Police Department shoulders the responsibility of law enforcement in the State of Miami. Being the largest municipal law enforcement agency in Florida, it is staffed by around 1370 full-time sworn personnel and more than 400 civilian personnel. The MPD is a full-service agency composed of more than 70 organizational elements, each responsible for the fulfillment of a distinct and unique role. The Divisions of the MPD range from a Real Time Crime Center to a full-time SWAT team and a Bomb Squad. Considering the city’s financial and political importance, the Miami Police Department carries out the important task of protecting the city against internal and external attacks.
In 2010, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) recognized the MPD’s policing efforts and the processes initiated towards improving internal security, with a special award that distinguished it from over 18,000 law enforcement agencies across the world. With respect to the organizational structure or the flow of authority prevalent in the Department, it follows a structure similar to that of the Paramilitary, where the entire department is headed by the Chief of Police. For more systematic and efficient policing, the city of Miami is divided into three policing districts: The North District, Central District, and Southern District. The MPD’s demographic of full-time sworn personnel is approximately 82% male and 18% female.
