I failed the state police exam twice before and did not want to go through that experience again. The state police exam is tough and requires a lot of preparation. Using this course plus recommended books from Amazon got me over the line. Thank you!
I had to take the highway patrol exam but only had one month left of study time. That, along with my work, make things way too difficult. But given how structured the course is, along with practice questions, you quickly build-up the knowledge level needed to succeed at the exam.

The state police written exam is what I really sucked at. This course helped, a lot! Far more than outdated textbooks I was using. I can really recommend their practice exams, too – best experience yet to know if you are prepared! I would not have passed without this course; a must-have study tool!
I was taking the New York state trooper exam but had no focus on what and how to study. What’s useful is how structured the course is, and how you can work your way through it at your own pace and test your knowledge along the way. I would not have passed without this course, that’s for certain.
Wow! I was looking for a one-stop shop for all my police test needs and this is EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve tried other courses, but they have never lived up to expectations. This test prep guide, in contrast, contains everything (and more) to help guide your way through all aspects of the state trooper test.

The interview test is by far the most intimidating part of the state trooper test. To be prepared, you need to do your homework – not only yourself but also how to prepare for dynamic oral board problems that test your situational judgment. This course prepares you for exactly that. Thank you!
Kansas highway patrol (KHP) has been developed considerably over the past few decades; a police department that is continued to evolve and provided efficient and effective law enforcement solutions. 84 years ago, in 1937, Kansas highway patrol was formed to provide public safety in state, interstate and federal highways. Under the command of police, Colonel Herman T. Jones, around 800 patrolmen are given the authority to implement traffic laws, such as, impaired driving laws, over speeding and responding to highway emergencies. KHP’s specialized units are also 24/7 active to assist other agencies all over the state. The highway patrol department is also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). KHP is split up into 27 units geographically, each lead by a commander holding the rank of captain. It is headquartered in Topeka, the capital city of Kansas. One of the greatest social activism step taken by KHP is working with youth. The department works with students in different safety events, such as, Students against destructive decisions (SADD) to spread awareness of road/traffic safety.
The department has also introduced a few safety programs to educate public about maintaining safety:
1. AAA driver improvement program
2. Kansas active shooter mitigation
3. Child passenger safety
4. Car fit
To become a part of KHP, candidates must pass the Kansas highway patrol test. The Kansas highway patrol test is composed of an online test, physical test, polygraph and medical test, and background check.
• Online test covers mathematics, general knowledge, reading and writing.
• Medical test covers a complete medical examination of candidate, including- ability of hearing and vision.
• Physical test includes determining physical strength of the candidate by giving him specific tasks (e.g, pushups, sit-ups and a running exercise)
• Background check is based on investigating candidate’s personal and social history.
