I failed the state police exam twice before and did not want to go through that experience again. The state police exam is tough and requires a lot of preparation. Using this course plus recommended books from Amazon got me over the line. Thank you!
I had to take the highway patrol exam but only had one month left of study time. That, along with my work, make things way too difficult. But given how structured the course is, along with practice questions, you quickly build-up the knowledge level needed to succeed at the exam.

The state police written exam is what I really sucked at. This course helped, a lot! Far more than outdated textbooks I was using. I can really recommend their practice exams, too – best experience yet to know if you are prepared! I would not have passed without this course; a must-have study tool!
I was taking the New York state trooper exam but had no focus on what and how to study. What’s useful is how structured the course is, and how you can work your way through it at your own pace and test your knowledge along the way. I would not have passed without this course, that’s for certain.
Wow! I was looking for a one-stop shop for all my police test needs and this is EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve tried other courses, but they have never lived up to expectations. This test prep guide, in contrast, contains everything (and more) to help guide your way through all aspects of the state trooper test.

The interview test is by far the most intimidating part of the state trooper test. To be prepared, you need to do your homework – not only yourself but also how to prepare for dynamic oral board problems that test your situational judgment. This course prepares you for exactly that. Thank you!
Indiana state troopers (IST) is the official law enforcement agency for the state of Indiana. On 15th April 1933, Indiana became the first state to introduce a state police force in a state-wide jurisdiction. 87 years ago, the agency was originally formed to enforce “the rules of road” and “motor vehicle laws”.
At present, Indiana state troopers are lead by the police chief, Douglas G. Carter. The chief subordinates an assistant superintendent and four deputy superintendents. The assistant superintendent holds the rank of colonel and each deputy superintendent holds the rank of lieutenant colonel with four primary duties:
1. Investigation
2. Enforcement
3. Support services
4. Financial management
The agency is headquartered in the Indiana government center north of Indianapolis (the state capital).
The agency began its operations with just 16 officers and today it has progressed as one of the leading state police agencies in the country – now with over 1300 employees.
ISP consists of a special board, known as the “Indiana state police board (IPB)”. The primary purpose of IPB is to administer, manage and control operations of the agency with the assistance of 6 personnel, appointed by the governor. The board deals in setting the salary, compensation, and other service provisions.
