Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
Garland, Texas, is a city of 225,000 inhabitants and lies northeast of Dallas, forming part of the larger Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
Early Garland was an agricultural hub that supplied Texan farmers and pioneers with vital supplies. The city began to get into its stride after the Second World War, when several large manufacturing companies set up shop in the now empty aircraft factories that had been built to help with the war effort.
Even today, Garland is home to more than 300 manufacturing plants, making it the largest industrial city in Texas.
Modern Garland might be a manufacturing hub (and home to the famous Resistol Cowboy Hat!) but the economy here continues apace with a diversification program that has seen healthcare, technology and wireless communication companies move to the city.
Despite being centered around manufacturing, Garland is still a very pleasant and livable city, with a vibrant cultural scene and over 2,000 acres of public parks. The city suburbs have an affable, easy going vibe that makes them popular with commuters, who travel into Dallas each morning using the newly built DART light railway system.
In terms of law enforcement, Garlands’s Police department comprises around 480 total employees. Out of these, 350 are sworn officers and 130 are civilian support staff.
To join the the Garland Police Department (GPD), applicants will need to take an entry exam, comprised of both a written and physical test, as well as taking part in a structured oral assessment and a polygraph analysis.
Once accepted, police trainees are enrolled in the the Garland Police Department (GPD), which lasts around 28 weeks, involving intense physical and academic preparation, with recruits studying criminal justice, human behavior, tactical firearms training, and crime scene investigation techniques.
