Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!

History: To tackle increasing security concerns in the city of Washington during the civil war, President Lincoln formally established the Metropolitan Police Department of Colombia in 1861. Prior to this, he delegated a board of members to study the functioning of the New York Police Department, so as to implement the same in DC. Thus, MPDC replaced already existing law enforcement agencies and provided for more institutionalized policing in the district. Since its founding, 123 officers have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The special operations division is further subdivided into 40 other super-specialized units, each headed by a Lieutenant. The Chief of Police heads MPDC.
How to become a deputy: The first step is to obtain an MPD Interest Card from their website, stating interest in joining. Candidates must then attend the MPD Prospect Day that is regularly organized to undertake a series of screening events and tests, including a physical ability test (PAT), document verification and biometrics registration. Candidates who meet all criteria of the screening event are expected to take up a written test called National Testing Network Frontline Written Exam (NTNFWE) thereafter. The exam tests core competencies of logical reasoning and analysis, and grammar and report writing.
