Amazing! I bought several books from Amazon and none of what I studied appeared on the exam. Here, the study material is way more relevant. I'm attending the police academy from next week!
The oral board and incident report writing sections of the exam are what threw me. Having tried many other books from Amazon and online programs, this course was the only one that set me on the right track.

I couldn't believe how comprehensive their course is. 70 units covering everything you need to know and more, even preparing you for what to expect at a trainee level. Can't thank them enough.
The practice questions are just what I needed. More importantly, each answer explanation was detailed so I was plugging gaps in my knowledge all the way through the course. Can't fault it!.
Excellent course. Better than the outdated textbooks where you just don't know what to study. I came across this site by accident but it made a difference and I passed the exam last week.

I was a bit surprised by this. I failed my police exam twice before and just couldn't make it through. I tried their course and passed on my first attempt! Pretty good value too. Thanks a lot!
The city of Aurora, Colorado has a population of 325,000. This makes it the third most populous city in the state, with an urban area covering Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas Counties.
Aurora was founded in the 1880s, after Denver businessman Donald Fletcher established the site on land originally inhabited by Arapaho, Cheyenne and Sioux indigenous tribes.
Aurora is somewhat suburban in character, with lots of low rise buildings and a lack of a “proper” downtown business district. As such, although Aurora grew dramatically in the 1970s and 80s, it has always lived in the shadow of its larger neighbor, Denver.
Despite the city’s suburban flavor, Aurora’s elevated geography and close proximity to hiking trails and rugged scenery make it a popular place for fans of the outdoors. In addition, with seven golf courses and basketball, hockey and football teams, Aurora is a firm favorite amongst sports fans.
Like the rest of Colorado, Aurora’s inhabitants used to be heavily involved in agriculture and mineral extraction industries. These days, the city’s economy is largely held up by retail and technology, as well the strong military presence from nearby Buckley Air Force Base.
The Aurora Police Department (APD) has its headquarters at East Alameda Parkway. The APD is one of the largest municipal departments in Colorado, with 744 sworn police officers and 237 civilian staff.
To pass the Aurora Police Department test, applicants must complete both a physical and written exam, as well as training modules covering skills like mathematical reasoning, memory and spatial orientation. Prospective officers are also required to undergo psychological evaluation and a thorough medical exam.
Once accepted, The Aurora Police Department requires trainee officers to participate in a police academy that consists of 26 days of intense instruction covering every aspect of police work, from tactical training to criminal law.
Application forms for the Aurora Police Department test can be found online.
