I failed the state police exam twice before and did not want to go through that experience again. The state police exam is tough and requires a lot of preparation. Using this course plus recommended books from Amazon got me over the line. Thank you!
I had to take the highway patrol exam but only had one month left of study time. That, along with my work, make things way too difficult. But given how structured the course is, along with practice questions, you quickly build-up the knowledge level needed to succeed at the exam.

The state police written exam is what I really sucked at. This course helped, a lot! Far more than outdated textbooks I was using. I can really recommend their practice exams, too – best experience yet to know if you are prepared! I would not have passed without this course; a must-have study tool!
I was taking the New York state trooper exam but had no focus on what and how to study. What’s useful is how structured the course is, and how you can work your way through it at your own pace and test your knowledge along the way. I would not have passed without this course, that’s for certain.
Wow! I was looking for a one-stop shop for all my police test needs and this is EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve tried other courses, but they have never lived up to expectations. This test prep guide, in contrast, contains everything (and more) to help guide your way through all aspects of the state trooper test.

The interview test is by far the most intimidating part of the state trooper test. To be prepared, you need to do your homework – not only yourself but also how to prepare for dynamic oral board problems that test your situational judgment. This course prepares you for exactly that. Thank you!
Alaska state police is the official police agency for the U.S state of Alaska. Alaska state troopers (AST) is the division of Alaska department of public safety, which strives to provide full-time law enforcement services, including both handling traffic and criminal activities. The mission of AST is to ensure that the state of Alaska is preserved with peace; crimes are detected and prevented with adequate measures, life and properties of people are protected. This division has three major components, including- Alaska bureau of investigation (investigates crimes and eliminates illegal drug distribution throughout the state), judicial services (responsible for prisoner transport and providing security for state courts) and Alaska Highway patrol (keeps highways safe). Following are AST’s eight major responsibilities:
1. Enforce criminal laws
2. Traffic laws and regulations
3. Search and rescue operations
4. Provide training to relevant criminal justice agencies
5. Maintaining public peace and order
6. Investigate human abuse of neglect
7. Responding to citizen queries and concerns
8. Assist governmental and law enforcement agencies
As the state of Alaska does not have any counties (therefore no county police of sheriff), AST handles all the law enforcement needs of most of the rural areas of Alaska. As of 2020, the division has 349 troopers, performing both as state troopers as well as wildlife enforcement troopers.
Just recently, on 9th March, 2021, the agency hired two additional full time commercial helicopters for patrolling in different areas under its jurisdiction.
To succeed in the Alaska state troopers test, the applicant must be able to pass the written test which evaluates one’s ability in reading comprehension and logical reasoning. All the applicants must also pass the Alaska state troopers test for physical fitness evaluation, in order to further move on in the hiring process.
